Apple Picking and Fresh Apple Crumble

What would you do if you were given a chance to pick your own apples ??? Pick as many as you can .. Am i right ?? Yeah i did the same thing last week. Fall is great for picking apples and it is the end of the apple season , so we decided to go for apple picking . We were all dressed up, packed our Breakfast , Wore the Jackets and shoes , headed to Blueridge ,North Georgia Mountains. We reached Mercier Orchards which is the number one apple orchard in North Georgia .

The orchard was really crowded . We bought our tickets and we were directed to go sit in a truck . Once the truck is full ,they take us to the Orchard . I really really enjoyed every minute in the orchard. What you can see is apple , apples and apples everywhere. So here are few pictures i captured .

These apples on the ground are not wasted and made into apple cidar

See how much apples i picked . They all are fresh juicy and crunchy.

So now lets get to the Fresh Apple Crumble Recipe Below.

Apple crumble is really simple to make and it is ready within couple of minutes with no efforts .I prefer apple crumble for my Breakfast .It is full of Fresh Apples , Granola , Brown Sugar , Butter and Cinnamon.

INGREDIENTS:

Apple - 1 Medium .
Granola - 1/ 4 Cup
Roasted Oats - 1/4 Cup
Corn Flakes - 2 TBLS
Cinnamon Powder - 1 TSP
Brown Sugar - 3 TBLS
Salt - Pinch
Butter - 2 TBLS

INSTRUCTIONS

Pre-heat the oven at 350F.
Wash  , peel and slice the apple.
On the Apple add Cinnamon Powder , Brown Sugar , Butter and salt .
Give it a quick mix . Put the mixture in a baking pan.
In another bowl , mix Granola , Roasted Oats and Cornflakes . ( I prefer to powder them )
