What a better way to start with a post of Vegetable -Lentil Soup after a month and a half break .. Sorry guys it was sooo hectic month of packing - shifting - moving - unpacking and settling. Now i am back to blogging.
These kind of soups have many health benefits.This soup is loaded with vegetables , Lentils and Kidney beans and it is packed with nutrients and importantly low in calories . It is stomach filling and easy to make . These kind of soups can be consumed by people of all ages. If you are thinking of losing extra pounds for this summer this is the best stomach flling meal. Note : Avoid any kinds of fat and oil.
Pepper corns / Pepper powder
1. Wash and Cut the vegetables length wise.
2. Put all the Vegetables ,Onions, Spinach , Dal , Kidney Beans and all the Spices together along with water in a pressure cooker . Allow it to whistle threee to four times or till all the vegetables , Dal and Kidney Beans get cooked.
3. Check the salt - if needed you can add more to your taste.
4. Serve the soup hot .
