Awards for the event - Lets Cook for Christmas

 The time just flies so fast . It looks like only yesterday i posted an event announcement for Christmas and today its one day after New Year . Ah i forgot to wish you''ll for the New Year . I wish each and everyone a very happy new year and may this year bring joy , peace and happiness in all your lives. As usual even this year i have not taken any resolution , i know i am really bad at it . But one thing which i had decided was " i will post 2- 3 recipes weekly and it should be in combination of everything ( i know i have to reduce posting dessert recipes ) . 

 Ok now lets see the round up for the event " Lets Cook for Christmas" .  There were totally 145 entries .  Each and every entry were so unique and equally competitive with each other . Thank you so much each and every participant for making this event a grand success .

 I had categorized all the recipes under Salad , Cocktails , Cookies ,  Appetizers - Veg , Appetizers -  Non Veg  , Main Course  , Side Dish - Veg , Side Dish -N.Veg , Cakes , Desserts - Indian sweet ,  Desserts - International . Based on these categories i had chosen certificates for the deserved . Priority were given to the most Christmas related recipes as the theme is such . So there is no losers here . Everyone gets an award for participating in the event .

Best Creative Appetizer Award goes to +pra manj from My Wonder Kitchen for her Eggy Snowman . These eggy snow mans are so cute . Women you are so creative ..

Best Healthy Appetizer Award goes to +Smitha Kalluraya from Cook with Smile for her Colacassia Leaf Rolls . Though i have not heard about this leaf . It looks soo healthy and a filling snack .

Now lets look in to Awards for Main Course.

Best Healthy Recipe Award for Main course goes to +Bhawna Bagri  from Simply Delicious for her Corn Dhokla .

Best Recipe Award  for Main Course goes to +Princy Vinoth  from Spicy Food for her Velam Appam . I am sure most of the people don't get perfect Apams ,But yours look crispy and perfect .

Best Recipe Explanation Award for Main Course Goes to +Eliza Lincy from Lincy's Cook Art for her  Fish Dum Biriyani . Between both your biriyani recipes were so good . Step by step with photos are so helpful .

Now lets see the awards for the Best Side Dishes both Veg and Non Veg.

Best innovative Recipe award for Non vegetarian side dish goes to +Sherin Deepu  for her Mussel Fry . They look delicious .

Now lets see the awards for Cakes . I have chosen 4 interesting recipes .

Best Innovative Recipe Award for Desserts goes to +Mayuri's Jikoni for her  Vanilla Chia Panna Cotta

Best Recipe Explanation Award for Desserts goes to +Rebecca Swinn  for her Tipsy Chai Sticky Date Pudding with Butterscotch Sauce . The sauce is the highlight for this dessert .

 Finally Top Contribution Award goes to +Eliza Lincy for contributing as many fabulous amazing recipes . Thank you sooo much +Eliza Lincy  for participating and making the event successful. Event Announcement " Lets Cook for Christmas"

Jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way !!!!! Oh yeah i am already getting ready for Christmas , Guess everyone are too . Just a month for Christmas eve and even the New year is around the corner too.  I can see Christmas Trees popping up in shops , malls , roads and everywhere , with all lovely decorations on it . Mostly everyone would have set up their Christmas trees at home by this time and started baking the fruit cakes too .

So here i am coming up with a event " Lets cook for Christmas" . This event is all about Cooking and Baking for Christmas . It could be Appetizer / Snack / Cakes / Cupcakes / Cocktails / Pies / Tarts / Candies / Cookies / Desserts . I leave the choice to you  . You can send any recipe which is apt for Christmas .

Like my previous event " Lets celebrate Halloween" ,  there will be Award certificates too . Certificates will be issued based on Best Innovative recipe, Best Creativity , Best Display , Best recipe Explanation , Best photography , Best Looking Cake , Best Looking Cupcake , Best looking Dessert , Best  Appetizer , Participation Award , Top Contributor Award  , ( for more certificates suggestions do comment on the comment column  ).
